It is common knowledge that phosphate is a significant precondition for the growth of algae. There we have begun in early 2008 to develop a system
for phosphate adsorbent. The flow behavior of different tank shapes, flow rates, different construction materials, as well as the filter material had to be
developed an tested here. In the course of 2008, we were able to test the functionality of the system in swimming pools and pilot plants.
The resulting findings have been considered in our PO4 and with some pride we can now present our filter ready for use.
Especially where powders and granules can not always be used, our PO4 adsorber is the right choice. It works reliable and sustainable binds the dissolved
phosphates. In the case of limited nitrification and denitrification, we also have installed a Zeolite unit for binding of ammonium and nitrate.
